Old Mike
Remembered in life, forgotten in death
On this day in 1975, Old Mike was finally laid to rest in Prescott, Arkansas. He died in 1911 with no identification, and for more than sixty years his embalmed body stood in silence at the local funeral home, scaring several generations of kids who were brave enough to peek inside.
