The original admission log from the school still exists. Dr. Brian Mitchell from the University of Illinois shared this page with us, dating back to the time of the fire. Several entries include notes identifying boys who died in the blaze, though not every victim is marked as such, and some of the boys who perished were never recorded in the log at all.
